Gregory A. Kirkman, Commercial Sales Manager for Pavestone in Kansas City, MO recently had an article featured in Landscape Architect and Specifier News (LASN). Greg showed how segmental retaining walls were used in a project for The Reservoir Hill subdivision in north Tulsa, Oklahoma.
On this project, our pricing was compared to standard cast in-place concrete walls. After extensive research and a thorough cost analysis, the city of Tulsa choose to go with an engineered Pavestone© (SRW) segmental retaining wall. We provided highest quality products, designed a special color blend for the neighborhood association’s approval (at no additional cost) and still saved the city approximately 15%. On a large scale project like this, 15% turned out to be sizable savings!
